Tea Garden Resort, Lembang

Went to Tea Garden Resort earlier this year. Got a great deal from LivingSocial at IDR 700k for a cottage (additional IDR125k to be paid at Resort for weekend surcharge).

The view is breathtaking, the cottages and resort is beautiful.

Too bad it is not well maintained.
The floor was dirty when we first stepped into the cottage, phone was not working as well. The staff was slow (but friendly). I really hope that the management would do something to improve the condition. It would be such a waste to see that beautiful place deteriorate

Day 11: Last Day in Seoul

We woke up early as the flight back home was at 10.35am.
Luckily for us, the airport limousine bus stop is located in front of the hotel. It was so convenient!

The journey from Sejong Hotel took around 70 mins. The airport was already bustling with people at 8am. Check in and immigration took around 1 hour as it was very crowded… Lots of tour groups.

Collect all your shopping receipts for tax refund and get it stamped at the counter beside Lotteria (before immigration).

Once passed the immigration, we saw the Korean Cultural Experience Center. I read about this on the net and really excited about it as I loveeee crafts. You can also try hanbok there. I did hanji bowl

It took around 10 mins to do and few more mins to let it dry a little bit before putting it into plastic bag so I can bring it home.

Went to gate 28 for tax refund in cash and used it up for last minute shopping. Obviously, the souvenirs there are around KRW5-10k more expensive than Namdaemun.

Run to gate 111 for boarding and au revoire Korea ..

By the way, Garuda Indonesia provide on board immigration process on certain routes and Seoul is one of them.

Officers on board will process all passport and give a clearance card. Once you reached the terminal, there is special lane where you can just pass the clearance card to the officer there, no queueing!! 🙂
